Est. 2024 · Bakery + Foodbank

Warm bread,
freely given.

We bake pastries, sourdough and birthday cakes every morning — and hand them, still warm, to anyone sleeping rough in our city. No queue. No paperwork. Just food made with love.

The mission

A bakery that exists to give itself away.

Foodbanks usually mean tinned beans and stale loaves. We thought: why shouldn't someone sleeping in a doorway get a buttery croissant, a slice of carrot cake, a still-warm cinnamon bun?

Every morning at 4am the ovens come on. By 7am the bread is in the basket of a bike, on its way to railway arches, hostels and shelters across the city.

Dignity tastes like good bread.

From the ovens.

Birthday Cakes

Made on request for kids in temporary housing.

The founder

Started by a kid
with a packed lunch.

When he was nine, he gave his sandwich to a man outside the supermarket. The next week he gave him a chocolate muffin he'd baked himself.

Three years later, that muffin is a fully working community bakery — staffed by neighbours, funded by donations, fuelled by stubborn kindness.

"Everyone deserves something nice with their morning."

Lend flour,
time, or a fiver.

Donate

£5 buys a sack of flour. £50 fuels a full bake.

Volunteer

Knead dough at dawn or deliver by bike.

Supply

Surplus butter, fruit, eggs — we'll use it.
