The mission
Foodbanks usually mean tinned beans and stale loaves. We thought: why shouldn't someone sleeping in a doorway get a buttery croissant, a slice of carrot cake, a still-warm cinnamon bun?
Every morning at 4am the ovens come on. By 7am the bread is in the basket of a bike, on its way to railway arches, hostels and shelters across the city.
Dignity tastes like good bread.
48-hour ferment, blistered crust, soft crumb.
Cardamom sugar, brown butter glaze.
Made on request for kids in temporary housing.
Laminated by hand at dawn.
Cream cheese, a little orange zest.
Quick, warm, wrapped in brown paper.

The founder
When he was nine, he gave his sandwich to a man outside the supermarket. The next week he gave him a chocolate muffin he'd baked himself.
Three years later, that muffin is a fully working community bakery — staffed by neighbours, funded by donations, fuelled by stubborn kindness.
"Everyone deserves something nice with their morning."
£5 buys a sack of flour. £50 fuels a full bake.
Knead dough at dawn or deliver by bike.
Surplus butter, fruit, eggs — we'll use it.
